Barnard CSC
The CSC aims to lower the barrier of entry into computing for students across all disciplines. Computational science is a field concerned with using computational methods to solve problems and explore data. The CSC interprets this broadly as the use of computing across disciplines for a variety of applications, including academic research, creative inquiry, and artistic expression. Given that Barnard is a historically women's college, all students at Barnard that engage with the CSC or computational science are engaging with computational science as people who have been excluded from computing. Accessibility and inclusion are therefore central to the way the CSC seeks to engage with students and the field.
I worked with the team at Barnard CSC to built a visual identity around these values and insights. Coming soon!
